Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2018 notification has been released regarding to conduct CDS Examination on 04.02.2018. The candidates going to submit online application form are advised to check necessary eligibility conditions because no application shall be entertained in case of not fulfilling mere qualifications and other mandatory criteria. Young, energetic and dynamic candidates with prescribed criteria may apply online for UPSC CDS (1) 2018 examination on or before the closing date i.e. 04.12.2017 till 6:00 PM.  UPSC conducts various examinations every year and CDS exam in one of the famous exam to be selected in armed forces and this years it also Including SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course. Required Eligibility:

Posts Name Education Age required
Indian Military Academy Graduate or equivalent from a recognized university 20-25 years
Indian Naval Academy Graduate in Engineering or equivalent from well recognized university 20-24 years
Air Force Academy Graduate with mandatory subjects as Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering from a recognized university 20-25 years
Officers Training Academy Graduate or equivalent from a recognized university

Age relaxation:

Reserved category applicants will get the benefit in upper age as per the organization norms.

Application Fee:

  • For the General and OBC Candidates: Rs. 200/-
  • For the SC/ST/Female: No Fee
  • Application fee can be submitted through using Net Banking, Debit Card/Credit Card or by cash at SBI Bank.

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be followed by on the basis of performance in the Written Exam and interview.

Stipend to Gentlemen or Lady Cadets during the entire duration of training in Service academies i.e. during training period at IMA and OTA.  Rs. 56,100/-p.m.


How to Apply Online for UPSC CDS I 2018 Application Form:

  • Job seekers should visit @ then follow the link given as “Online application for various examinations of UPSC” on home page and click on the “Union Public Service Commission CDS 1 Notification” section.
  • Now read the advertisement carefully and then after fill up the online registration from in the given format through section titled as “Press here for PART I Part-I”.
  • After complete registration under part 1 candidates need to follow the PART -2 Registration section and follow the given instruction to fill up the online application form.
  • Now candidates need to upload recent passport size photograph along with the other documents scanned copies with it (if any).
  • In the last candidates required to submit the online filled application properly and required to get a printed copy of it for future use.

  • Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 4th December 2017 (06:00 PM)
  • End date for fee payment: 3rd December 2017 (11:59 PM)
  • CDS I 2018 Exam Date: 4th February 2018
